Welcome to Private Practitioner Online (PPO)

A number of animal diseases are notifiable under Victorian legislation. This means that there is a legal obligation to notify authorities if you know or suspect that an animal has one of these diseases.

By remaining vigilant and notifying as soon as you suspect a notifiable disease, you can play a vital role in protecting our livestock industries and preventing disease spread to other animals or possibly to humans.

The easiest way to report an emergency or exotic animal disease is to call the Disease Watch Hotline - 1800 675 888 (24 hours a day, every day of the year).
